The myth around Poseidon
We see them as truths, and the favorite goes like this:
Carl Milles created Poseidon in all his glory, but was turned down by the city's well-to-do ladies. They thought Poseidon was far too risqué! Milles had no choice but to change his work, but made sure to add a personal touch...
To carry on in the same spirit, he repositioned the fish Poseidon holds, so that from the right angle it looks like...
well, a risqué personality.
Hence the unofficial name, Milles' revenge.
